Citywide Signal Communication Upgrade

The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the construction and installation of the following on Dublin Boulevard between San Ramon Road and City of Dublin City Hall building: install new 3” conduit, new pull boxes, pull tape, upgrade existing pull boxes, and adjust existing conduit, as shown on the plans, described in these Special Provisions and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the Public Works Director, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: Contractors bidding the project are required to attend the mandatory pre-bid conference prior to bidding. The pre-bid conference is scheduled for November 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. and December 1, 2022 at 10:00 A.M., and will be located at the Dublin City Hall, 100 Civic Plaza. Bids will not be accepted from contractors that do not attend one of the pre-bid meetings. Sub-contractors are not required to attend the pre-bid conference.

COST ESTIMATE: The City’s estimated total construction cost for this Project is between $900,000 – $1,000,000. The estimate is intended to serve merely as a guideline of the magnitude Bid Documents 14 of work. Neither the bidders nor the contractor shall be entitled to claims because of any inaccuracy in the estimated cost range.
