PROJECT SCOPE: The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the construction and installation of the following: The full removal and disposal of existing ornamental metal fencing along Fall Creek Road, Dougherty Road and Wildwood Road, and replacement with new 6’ height vinyl coated chain link fencing and chain link pedestrian gates and vehicular maintenance gates, 48” height decorative metal fencing on existing monument sign and culvert walls, and the patching and painting of the existing monument signs at Alamo Creek Park all as shown in the Specifications, Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the Public Works Director, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.

PROJECT SCOPE: The Iron Horse Nature Park and Open Space Project: Phase 1 (Project) located in Dublin, California is a nature park and open space with a trail and recreation facilities. The Project area will extend approximately 2,000 feet north from the intersection of Amador Valley Boulevard along a former railroad embankment and into existing facilities at Stagecoach Park. The Project will include a new 12-foot-wide asphalt concrete (AC) paved trail spanning approximately 2,000 linear feet with two-foot-wide aggregate base (AB) shoulders on either side. Spur pedestrian trails will be constructed near the north end of the Project to connect to the existing Iron Horse Trail to the west and Stagecoach Park to the east. Both spur trails will include an embankment and/or ramp and culverts to convey existing drainage swales. Near the northern end of the Project an existing railroad trestle bridge associated with the former railroad containing creosote-coated wood will be removed, and a new arch bridge with concrete headwall and wingwalls and embankment will be constructed in its place. The Project also includes park and landscape amenities, fiber optics conduits, planting, irrigation, recycle water relocation, and concrete sidewalk, curb, gutter, and driveway.

The proposed project includes the renovation of multiple rooms on the second floor of the Dublin Civic Center. All work is to be performed outside Civic Center normal business hours. This includes the demolition and removal of existing finishes, storage system, doors; construction and alteration of new wall and existing ceiling and storefront systems; extension and alteration of existing building HVAC, Electrical and Low Voltage AV and Data systems to service new spaces. The proposed project includes the construction of a dog park, four lighted pickleball courts, three lighted tennis courts, one lighted tennis court with striping overlay four pickle ball courts, two basketball courts, parking area, two restrooms, group picnic area and children’s play area. The work includes but is not limited to earthwork, storm drainage, playground equipment, sports equipment, chain link fencing, site furnishings, stabilized decomposed granite paving, shade structure, site concrete, asphalt concrete paving, electrical equipment and controls, lighting, irrigation, soil preparation and planting.

On-call services for a three (3) year term for the removal and/or installation of thermoplastic traffic stripes, markings, legends, or other pavement delineation. Note that contract work will be allocated on a fiscal year basis at an amount not to exceed $63,000 annually. The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the construction and installation of the following on Dublin Boulevard between San Ramon Road and City of Dublin City Hall building: install new 3” conduit, new pull boxes, pull tape, upgrade existing pull boxes, and adjust existing conduit, as shown on the plans, described in these Special Provisions and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the Public Works Director, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.

The work of this contract includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the reconstruction of the damaged area at the Dublin Senior Center within the 'scope of work' area. Including but not limited to the repair of architectural and structural damage to the rear kitchen entry; select demolition; reconstruction of wall finishes; rough carpentry (structural framing); door and door hardware; floor finish; and electrical as shown on the Plans, in the Specifications, Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the City Engineer, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.

The proposed project consists of the renovation of the existing police department building in the Dublin civic center, changing the building’s occupancy to assembly A-3. The renovation includes: major reconstruction of the first floor where all interior construction, finishes, and systems will be replaced with new layout to accommodate a new Dublin Cultural Arts Center, minor renovations to the second floor of the building with most walls to remain to provide staff spaces for the parks and community services department, replacement of the roof and HVAC equipment for the building, structural upgrades to the column/beam connections, and minor improvements to the site for accessibility compliance. The first floor's program consists of a black box performance/event space, gallery, art classrooms, dance studio, music studio, and an exterior ceramics yard enclosed by fences. The second floor's program consists of offices for the parks and community services department, two new restrooms, two new showers, a new janitor’s closet, a break room, a conference room, a lactation room, and a fitness room for the city staff.This will be a LEED project with requirements to meet Silver criteria.
